1986 – the thrid generation
In the mid-1980s, Carl Otto Künnecke, representing the third generation of the family, joined the company. Under his leadership, production processes were modernized, additional employees were hired, and a new company – Otto Künnecke Maschinenbau und Anlagentechnik – was founded.

Immediately after the end of the war, reconstruction began. The topping-out ceremony took place on August 2, 1945.
1934 – company foundation: the first generation
Out of love for craftsmanship, Otto Künnecke Sr. founded a locksmith shop in Holzminden in 1934. In the family home of his wife, who was also the first employee, the foundation was laid for the company’s successful history.
